Who: Kurogane and Fay
When: Late Sunday night/ extremely early Monday morning.
Where: House of Clamp, Kurogane's bedroom.
Rating: PG
Warnings: Fay's angst, romantic feelings between two men, maybe kissing, maybe a little more but I'm not sure yet.
Summary: Having spent way too much of the last few weeks trying to figure out his feelings for Kurogane

For once, Kurogane slept soundly. There had been to much going on this week to allow for any kind of decent down time, his nerves usually still buzzing late into the night as he hunted larger and larger prey on the lower level during the day.
But now, finally, the voices (and the damn sparkles) had disappeared in much the same way they had arrived; unexpectedly and for no apparent reason. He didn't care as long as they didn't come back anytime soon. Or ever. Preferably ever. So it was only natural that he didn't notice the door slip open.

Opening the door the rest of the way and slipping inside the room, Fay was relieved the see Kurogane still asleep. He still wasn't entirely sure what he planned to do, of course, but hopefully this would make things easier.

He knelt next to the side of the bed, and leaned against it to get a good look at the ninja's sleeping face. Unable to resist a small smile, Fay leaned in a little close. Sleeping soundly like this, Kurogane really was adorable. Not that he wasn't normally, but now even more so. Gently brushing the younger man's cheek with his hand, Fay sighed. "You really are an idiot," he muttered quietly.

It was a mix of the blond's footsteps and caress that roused him into consciousness. The footsteps soon registered as the magician's, and he was more than a bit curious as to why Fay was in his room of all places, especially given the time of night. More quizzical than anything, for a moment he forgot to be mad at the blond for intruding. Without opening his eyes he mumbled, "Takes one to know one,"

Jumping very slightly at the sound of the ninja's voice, Fay chuckled quietly. "Mature, Kurorin." Unsure of what to do now, he kept his hand on Kurogane's cheek and moved to sit on the edge of the bed. "You're awake then?"
