Summary: Unfortunate situations have brought Laharl and Fay into a fight. One of them is going to die.
Laharl stared at the terminal screen for a moment. What in the world had gotten into Fay? Why would he run off like that without finishing his sentence? Well, Laharl was assuming he ran off, at least. It wasn't like the little fruity magician to do that, and it made him curious.
After thinking about it for a few moments, Laharl smirked and said to himself, "Heh. Maybe my sheer awesomeness scared him off."
Of course, Laharl really was awesome right now. He had just gotten his powers back, and he had kicked the snot out of that stupid turtle and gotten his Imperial Seal back, which just made him even stronger. It wasn't surprising that mere humans would tremble in fear at him. So, Laharl decided to let Fay off the hook this time. For now he would just continue spreading word of his awesomeness over the network. He had to hurry: this was the only terminal in the castle, and Elle would probably want to use it before long.
