Summary: Fay's killed Laharl, Kurogane wants to know why (the hell, idiot?!)
Kurogane hadn't bothered asking Fay where he was. He knew the blond wouldn't be able to tell him anything useful in his current state, so instead he set off to find the magician himself. He marched down the stairs and through the streets, senses alert and hand resting lightly, but firmly on the hilt of his sword. He would go straight to the little brat's house, to check what had happened, and from there...he'd find Fay somehow.
He expected the worst, although a very small part in the back of his mind still hoped that this was some stupid, elaborate prank concocted by the wizard.
...But they he'd spoken, or more prominently, the way he hadn't, told him that there would be no amused Fay waiting for him when he finally found the blond.
He approached Laharl's 'castle' warily, and all too soon he noticed the kid lying on his back in too much blood for anyone to live through, that is, if it was all his. He ran to the kid's side, knowing before checking his pulse that Laharl was dead. He was used to seeing corpses, back in Nihon he'd seen (and created) them on an almost daily basis, but there was always something slightly disturbing in seeing the body of a child. Even if the aforementioned child was nothing but a spikey blue pain in the ass.
But Fay was no where to be found, something for which he was both thankful and fearful. He set off again, intent of finding the other man, and what had really happened here.
