Who: Doumeki, Citrine When: After Citrine's last post. Where: Clocktower Rating: PG? Warnings: None? Summary: Doumeki can't see how Citrine can work so much, so he invites her to do nothing.
Citrine sighed when she stepped out of the White Fang building, wondering why she even agreed to this with no information on what was going to happen. She hadn't met Howard Mason yet but seeing as there had been no response so far, she decided to take care of this first. After all, sitting idle was something she couldn't stand, and with the paperwork all done, there really wasn't very much to do while waiting for someone to respond to something
( ... )
At the sound of a voice his head cocked in the direction, almost as if he wasn't that intrested. "Oh? Sooner then expected." He lightly replied, he still haden't figured out a good excuse as to dragging her out, so he casually just avoided her question in general.
Standing he merely glanced to her, before just taking to walking in a random direction. "...Why is it your so worried about Whitefang's bussiness here? Neither orginization really proves much use these days." Idle talk wasn't his strongpoint, but history would prove that neither ever seemed too keen on being talkative.
Finally giving in, he decided that creating a lie was too much work for his own taste. "I called you here, merely to get you away from work." Blunt and to the point he gave a faint sigh, "All work and no play, Something of a saying from back home." He added, his monotone rarely varying. "When was the last time you did something just for fun?"
"Recently, actually," she replied immediately, although she wasn't so willing to elaborate on that. Finding a good substitute for snow to continue those snowball fights with Ed was something no one really had to know about unless they were involved.
"And there is always something to do. This place is hopeless enough in itself, having nothing to work for would only end up in more despair." She had experienced that feeling once and it wasn't something she ever wanted to feel again. 'Useless weapons are disposed of.'
She shifted when she studied Doumeki for a while, wondering how he could be so calm and unfazed by everything. The complete opposite of... She stopped herself before reaching that thought, merely focusing on the current situation, although it was harder than she hoped.
"But if you insist, I'll humor you for now," she said eventually, hesitating for a moment before moving to sit down and--let herself be useless for at least a few moments. They had eternity to spend here, a few minutes wouldn't matter too much.
"Suprising." He taunted back in mild amusement. He didn't exactly know what she found fun, but it was probably something too much like work to his imagination.
"Oh? There's not much to despair of here." Well unless you counted; the monsters, the random events, and the long list of other things you could use to drown your spirits.
He merely made notice of her studying, as he curiously looked back. "Hm?" he made a slight questioning noise, as he didn't exactly see what was so intresting.
"Good." He responded, a faint smirk visable for a few seconds. Waiting until she took a seat he taunted her again for the sake of easy amusement. "Oh? Look at that wasting time, and yet you are still alive...How intresting."
