The Mansion was well decorated from wall to wall. It had oranges, browns, yellows, greens, and reds adorning the walls and flooring. It was decorated, after all, to Thylas's tastes. That meant it wasn't void of having some purples and pinks in there as well, though they were sparse. It was an Autumn Ball, after all. In the spring, perhaps, he realized, he could do more of these things.
However, people were coming into his house. That meant that they would be stripped of all powers and weapons upon entering. Anyone who broke a rule (none were written, however, he did ask that people use common sense), he would have it in his own mind to throw them out. Not physically, they would just be outside.
There was a row of several tables, on it was punch and small snacks. After all, this event was a treat -- a reward. You would only enjoy it as much as you have worked towards your redemption. Their outfits would get heavy, their clothes would change color.
They would become living displays of the colors that Alma saw them as, and they would feel the weight of every sin they have committed, or even for every sin they have lacked to work for fixing.
Thylas did enjoy pointing out people's flaws. People could enter, sit, and enjoy themselves. The music that played was primarily classical, violin - piano pieces that Thylas personally enjoyed and that he felt people could dance to. It wasn't really clear where it came from, either.
People would be able to move throughout the lower level of the house. To small side rooms, to bathrooms, and to a kitchen (the kitchen, however, was look and do not touch - literally). They were not things he needed, personally, but had created for events such as this. Towards the back was a staircase that lead upwards towards a balcony, the only place on higher ground accessible by the residents. Positioned near the staircase was a closed and locked door.
If they respected his space, Thylas could, perhaps, learn to respect theirs.
