If anything good came out of last weekend's aftermath, it was that Kakashi was rather looking forward to work and wanted to be on time more often. Oh, and being able to explain a number of things to Misao on her journal, all because he could relate to her feelings about work as well. They'd be working on the same team, after all, and cleaning up places while rebuilding. Misao had asked him to talk with Sakura as soon as possible to help her clear her head and dismiss any notion that Sasori was worth her time and not worth killing.
Even if Misao wasn't asking him to talk with Sakura, though, he had his own reasons to want to talk to the girl, especially after what happened that weekend. He kept blaming himself, even after Sakura had told him not to. All his thoughts about that weekend's events were muddled and confusing. If he could run away from those thoughts, he'd like to except that he'd be running away from responsibilities, and that would probably make him feel guilty forever.
Naturally, he wasn't surprised to find Sakura waiting for him... but at least he knew that she couldn't possibly have been standing around for hours on end... like what had happened when he said he'd meet her at the beach.
