Right, now, about the after-effects and the state of Purg. (I thought I posted this yesterday; apparently, I spaced out and never hit post. Doh). I apologise! Anyway:
The following changes have taken place:
- A gate's appeared at the base of the Clock Tower
- Where there were fortresses are large spaces that were emptied overnight, leaving a patch of sandy ground and flowers. It is impossible to dig there; the sand will quickly shift to fill any deformities.
- The ground at large has stopped bleeding, except in the following locations: The area around the hospital, the area around the school, and in random patches throughout the forest.
- The river is running clean again.
- There's still small earthquakes sounding off here and there on the lower level
- Of the two aforementioned Purgatorium-created figures, the Mephisto, the elder creatures that tend to
victimise those they run across are still around. The Masters, the reprimanding children, have disappeared, though.
-
mastermephisto can be seen wandering around. She tends to walk through things and does not react to anything.
- There's snow everywhere. Lots of it; it's the slushy, sticky kind. (Snowball fight?)
- Food monsters are permanently less plentiful, but there's enough.
Overall, things have become settled, quiet - perhaps, as the cliché goes, too quiet. Unfortunately, nothing sits still for long in Purgatory.
Also, unless you're already there, you may no longer go through the gate and come back.
The FAQ and all lists have been updated; if you see any screw ups or have any questions or comments, please do leave them here and I'll get right back to them.
Thanks a lot. Have a good Holiday, all of you. :)
