medea.

my medea.

you must have known,
sitting there, on your silent throne
what disturbed their sleep.

Only once upon a time~!

What else could it be? But perhaps it was inevitable. Perhaps it's what they need~.

some of us are not so quick
to put the past behind us.

perhaps.
it is much too soon
to fear the repercussions of the old days
and my love for them has been often gentle.

but things change.
and it remains to be seen
what must be done.

There are a lot of us out here.

but you feel the absence of one.
in corrodors, doors, ceilings, floors,
an absence echoes. what was two is one.

what is one
was always one.

and now it is alone in its isolation.

what did you lose?

You speak in poetry. Interesting.

But... I've lost a lot. People, pets, and I think I'm slowly losing my emotional stability. But that's probably just a side effect of being here for so long.

Do you have a name or anything?

two masks, their divine theatre.
one that laughs, one that cries.

you, who come and go, who forgets, who remembers.

what can i offer you?

there is no single question
that can sate me.

i will only ask
what you left behind, in the shadow. the absence you feel.
that new void.
what once filled it?

Absence...yes.

No way of telling what once was there, I'm afraid. Not now. Later, though. I will be able to answer later.

your question is much harder
because you ask yourself hard questions.

i put my faith in few.

you will do well.

you question so many things.
and there are so many things that give a stony answer.
an answer so oppressive, so complete in oppression,
that you dare not repeat the question.

the apple has been offered, and you are afraid.
but you want.

what do you question the most?

sorcerously February 7 2008, 21:23:50 UTC
... And what would you know of such temptation?

If you already know what lures me most, then I don't see why you aren't able to answer that question yourself.

it is not my question to answer,
gemma doyle.
