Straight men get abused too, usually by tiny little women who manage to hurt them with furniture. It rarely goes reported because it's embarrassing. It doesn't matter your gender- you can easily be abused, it seems.

But something you may not know- George Takei now has his own satellite! "The name was suggested by Tom H. Burbine, a Massachusetts astronomer, who cited Takei's work with the Japanese American Citizens League and the Human Rights Campaign. "

I feel as though hotlines for specific sets of people tend to be used more. If I were really depressed because my parents threw me out of the home for being gay, I think that I would call a hotline for GLTBQ people as opposed to one based solely on depression because they may understand me more.

There are hotlines for lesbians as well, and I believe those are national. I don't think that we have a national hotline for abused gay males.
