Entry 051: A new year

HAPPY NEW YEAR (again)!

So, I rung in the new year with a lot of fun!

On the 31st, I had BOYS AND MEN's Countdown Live to go to. I first got up around 2pm or so and decided to walk to Zepp Nagoya in order to buy merchandise and get a ticket for 2-shot pictures. On my way to the venue, I passed by the BOYS AND MEN Cafe&Shop to check out the New Year's displays they had. I wrote a little message on their message board before heading out to leave. Just as I was about to exit, the door opened from the outside with Hiramatsu Kento (yellow) barging in. I decided to watch him go around the shop as the other girls all flailed. I still had to leave for the time-limited goods line so I left the shop and quickly went down to the cafe to grab a hot drink for the rest of my walk. Kento also decided to go to the cafe. He asked the other patrons there who would be going to the Countdown live (some said they couldn't because they were too young) and who was going to the Thailand tour (one girl said she was but not in Kento's group). I got to the venue about 30 minutes after sales opened, filled out a confusing CD pre-order sheet, and bought goods that I wasn't expecting to buy because BM Staff like changing things last minute. I got enough goods for two 2-shots with Tsuchida Takumi (even though all my goods were of Yuhi). Then, I had kaiten sushi as my final 2015 meal.

While I was in line to actually enter Zepp for the concert, I made the effort to call and message some people to greet them. It may not have been their New Year's but it was almost time for mine so I took it from them, haha.

The BOYS AND MEN Countdown Live was really enjoyable! I especially appreciated the extra space on the floor due to them only allowing attendees who were over 18. Also, I think there wasn't too much unnecessary high-energy due to it being a late concert. Before midnight, the boys spoke of their highlights in 2015 and after midnight, they spoke of their hopes for 2016. My favorite part was the big announcement near the end; Nippon Budokan on January 7th 2017! I admit I got quite emotional when they announced it especially after hearing how much the boys aspired to reach that high stage in their career. Even though it's obviously not in 2016, the work they have to put into it will be exhausted this year. I'm hoping the best for them.

It was around 2am when we got let out to fall in line for the 2-shots. I made sure to get out asap in order to get home sooner. I almost regretted it since I ended up being the first person in Tsucchi's line. But, when I spoke to him and look back at the pictures, I'm pretty happy. I was a little disappointed that they opted to wear their stupid BoyMen Ninja-kun outfits but the stupid faces make up for it. Tsucchi usually likes looking at the pictures together but I was so concentrated on the things I was prepared to say. Anyway, I was happy to be his first 2-shot of the year.

I immediately hopped on my bike to get home to sleep! I got a decent 3-4 hours of sleep before waking up to get on a bus for Tenimyu Seigaku vs Yamabuki in Osaka with Josie. I had a really good time at the show. Our seats were a bit farther back compared to our Tokyo shows but they were in the middle-ish so we had a much better full view of the stage. Also, compared to the opening shows I saw, how much the boys have improved and got more comfortable was very obvious. The opening after intermission was so awesome too. I love the Rudolph boys so much. Then, the omiokuri was even better for me in terms of the actors and characters there. I was really happy to give and receive the Happy New Year greetings from the guys there. At the door, they gave out the fortune stickers and I first got Kaneda Ichiro. After trading, I was thankful to get Kisarazu Atsushi/Sato Yugo!

It's medium luck, but I don't really care about that stuff. Oh well, medium luck is better than no luck! So yeah, I rode back to Nagoya that night super happy. I'm going back to Osaka in a few weeks so hopefully others will be there for resale.

Oh yeah, just before the musical, I called my family since it had just turned midnight there. My dad was really upset that I didn't call or message them during my busy Christmas running-around so I tried harder this time. He's more tech-savy than I am and made the call a video-call that I didn't know how to turn off, haha. So, I did a few minutes of watching my dad get drunk for New Year's with our family pets. Then, the evening I got back from Osaka, I was super happy to message my best friend, Julie, a bit too. I didn't realize how much I missed them since I saw them in person last time.

Today actually, I did a 4-hour Skype call with my sister and Jade! Even just on Skype we're stupid. We started looking back at our friendship and our stupid antics that we had and will be had. We're planning another hang-out adventure in March so I'm looking forward to that!

I thought I could finally rest but I'm horrible and still set up too many busy things for myself still. Tomorrow, Sunday, I have another Skype party with Jade, my sis, and maybe Theo to watch all the NEWS and Arashi things. Monday, I have MagicPrince's New Year event and signing, then hanging out with a coworker. On Tuesday, I plan to go to Makoto's MachiBaru filming at their studio then maybe I'll watch a movie. Though, I should really prepare for work that I go back to on Wednesday! It's a pity that I go back to work with my heaviest, farthest, and most annoying school. Oh well! At least I'll get rid of that sooner! XD

Anyway, so far a good first two days of 2016!
