Intriguing. Strikes me as a "Buck Rogers meets Lilo & Stitch with a little
Matrix mixed in for flavor" episode. Your use of caricatures and stereotypes
made it easy to get a feel for the character. Unfortunately, without the
character depth, my mind keeps searching for some character irony or other cues
that might give a hint to the deeper currents between the characters and the
plot. Perhaps some unexplained fidgets, obscure figures of speech, or other
erratic behaviors could fill in some of the open space?
From a technical standpoint, the EMP reference feels a little desperate ( ... )
