Kai leaned over the fence and let the wind caress his bruised skin; so soft and cold it made him shiver slightly. He let his eyes gaze upon the magnificent view of the city lights; a sight he used to share together with his special someone and with a better vision he once had.
He never knew what had cause their fall. He couldn’t retrace back what mistakes he had made, what mistakes they had made to lead in such a way too painful ending. They never; were never will sought violence in whatever situation. Both of them are known as the calm and cheerful enigma; the perfect duo that would bring world peace with smiles and laughter. They both shared the same passion; that love shall bring peace to the world.
Whatever happened for the last 12 months.. He just couldn’t understand it.. Normal bickering turned into a battlefield. Cursing words dropped too casually and all the painful words just streamed out like free water. They would make up eventually but then, it’ll lead into another fight and they are back to square one. The cycle of fights and quarrels became too frequent in one day. Soon, the shouts and screams are being accompanied by rain of fists.
He choked in his own tears; missing their earlier days. Those moments where everything was fine.. Every moment filled with smiles, jokes and laughter. Where he could hug his beloved and felt safe within the other’s embrace. His knight in shining armour, his saviour… But now it was left within deep his memory box and wishing for such things….. It won’t come true now.. never..
It just won’t when he just found out the truth behind of all those abuse…
