Gotta start somewhere
Who: L and ??. Vash, Jim, Mello, Matt [Open!]
When: Tuesdayish, about two days after Light arrives in town.
Where: The Watering H☠le.
What: Vash gets is gun back from L and possible other shenanigans based on whoever else shows up!
The two days since Light Yagami had come to Boston had caused a flurry of activity on L's part, at least behind the scenes. He was considering the merits of moving at Light head on, but after a few hours had passed with no killings he had decided it might be best to take another day or so to formulate a plan. Kira had his morals, and he would likely wait until criminals presented himself, possibly working with ACRO or one of the other agencies in the meantime. Light still should largely be stuck in the Hostel, at least until he had found work. L would make a move soon. Instead, he was planning his next career move. He would need to be able to get off the street at a moment's notice if the girl that Big Boss had mentioned, the one who could see names, arrived in Boston. Perhaps a position with the government ... that was what he would do, if he were Kira.
He needed more allies. He felt he could trust Aqua, and perhaps C as well - the boy was young but L had only been 8 when he began his career as a detective. Big Boss and his colleagues were an unknown commodity. He did not like the possibility of the man being drawn back to Light. If he wished to stay away from Light Yagami, L would accommodate him and let him stay away.
He considered putting in his notice, that he was looking for something else, but he decided to wait it out, work a few more shifts. The pay was ... sufficient, but not really enough to make a dent in the materials he needed.
