The cold wind of autumn had never felt so cold for the little man. It was so cold to the point that he even complained in his twitter account just so to made himself felt better but it didn’t. In fact, what’s worse he had to take the public transportation to make his way to the studio.
He groaned inwardly as he moved his feet to his wardrobe and almost pick his winter gear when his body shivered too violently a few moments ago. After bundling himself in his proper autumn coats and a few layers of clothes, he made sure all his needed items are there and even took a quick moment to update his tweets to his fellow followers about his thoughts to grab on his winter jackets.
“It’s too cold!” he whined to no one in particular after he made sure he had lock his apartment door.
Koron; a super cute Chihuahua that is almost as popular as (or maybe more popular than) his master barked, agreeing with his master’s words.
“Oh, hush Koron. Don’t make me walk you on the cold road. Be grateful I put you in this vintage bag!” Ruki clutched onto the pink bag tighter which he had put Koron in with hopes he might hush a bit.
It is indeed a very cold day and how Ruki wished he could have a special thermal coat or better yet, have someone next to him for him to snuggle up to, someone whom he could cling on while walking down this cold lonely road of his. A soft sigh escaped from his slightly chapped lips as the thoughts of to have someone special invaded his mind.
He wished.
If only there are time and space for him to made to sought out for someone… but alas, he only found his true love that is Koron, whom had been faithful to him for almost forever. Not like his past lovers who’d run and scream their heads off whenever he did something eccentric or being a little bit too vain for a man. Or maybe he just talk too much?.... or it could be because he complained too much…?
He just can’t help it from being himself. In fact, isn’t that what lovers should do? Putting up on each other’s tantrums while discovering new things hands in hands? He might look like a gangster, wrote a lot of offensive and vulgar words but he is but only a man. A man that was misunderstood because of his job.
A pout unconsciously formed on his lips when he caught a sight of a couple sitting across him when he rode the bus. Jealousy and envy began to rise from within his stomach. Without hesitation, he pressed the bell and got off the bus despite the fact it was not his stop. He rather not force himself to watch the unbearable sight when he was craving for that kind of feeling. He hated the fact that he was an oversensitive person and a male. Oversensitive and male just doesn’t go together and it just sounds… wrong.
“Whatever!!” He shook his head and swung his feet to his destination. He was thankful that he left early and had enough time to make to the studio in time. In cue, a gust of wind blew a bit too harsh and that just made poor little Ruki shaking his legs and chatting his teeth hard.
“Fuck, should have just take my winter coat!”
“Yeah , you should,” someone giggled and draped something heavy but warm around his small body. “And you should know your autumn coat is not enough and stop following the trend Ruki, or you’ll die freezing your ass up,”
That voice..
“Aoi?”
“Duh, I saw your tweet and had my bet you’re taking the public transport. So, I decided to take a break from my recording for breakfast and thought I might come across meeting you,”
“And your point?”
“Ehh.. nothing in particular… I just had the feeling that you might need something warmer since your crazy fashion sense always kicks in than your common sense,”
“…. You’re mean.. you know that?” Ruki puff his cheeks and crossed his arms.
“Yeap~~~ cuz I’m the Superstar!,” Aoi made an illogical remark, yet it made the little vocalist smile.
“Treat me, then.”
“Sure~~ As long you cling to me cuz now I’m freezing,” Aoi draped his long hands around Ruki, who obligingly put his hands around Aoi’s waist.
A smile crept on his face. Maybe he might not yet had a lover but having a band member whom cares a lot about you is just enough to make the day brighter and better.
Life isn’t so bad after all…
“You do know we looked like a gay couple now…,”Ruki giggled and had Koron barking happily at the sound of its master’s happy voice.
“Oh really? Then should I carry you bridal style up to the studio and kiss you?”
Yeap.. Life is good.
