I may have got a lump in my throat at the end of Douglas Sirk's glorious melodrama All That Heaven Allows yesterday. Otherwise it's anything to do with animals or tales of incredible bravery during wartime.
I'm remarkably resistant to human suffering (although Schindler's List did have me in tears within the first ten minutes). But show me a refugee meerkat or a mistreated donkey and I'm blubbing like Sally Field at an awards ceremony!
Comming from a traitorous family of Newton Heath Railway Depot Utd fans I ROFLed myself to tears after City's recent 6-1 blitzkreig left them weeping into their red and white teddy bears.
