Quick explanation, for those who don't know I've been role-playing Tot in a game. These are in response to a 5+1 meme that I'm putting here so I have quick access to (you know me, I'll lose it otherwise...). So anyway,
1) As oddly dysfunctional as it was, Schreient was still the only family Tot had and waking up in some strange place without any of them around was enough to bring back too many things she never wanted to remember. Being lost and alone again wasn’t any more fun this time around.
2) No one would believe it but Masafumi Takatori was a wonderful father to the girl, even if he did put her in situations no father ever would. Still, he protected her in his own way against the dark and evil things that frightened her, but this time he wasn’t there when the redhead from Schwarz stared her down.
3) It really hit her, that there was no one else around while fixing her hair one morning. It had become routine, something it didn’t really take a lot of thinking to do, but it used to be one of the few things she spent time doing with Schön. And as much as it hurt to remember, Tot held back the tears because Schön had told her that no man wanted to see a pretty girl cry.
4) Neu had told her to fight and become stronger to protect what was yours, what you love the most no matter how hard it was or how much it hurt. This was why Tot pushed her new little family to become stronger; they had something to fight for and she knew Neu would understand.
5) Tot had told Nagi she understood the “sort of” mother thing once and she did. No one would ever think of Hell as being the mothering type, but she was the closest thing Tot had to a mother figure-she might still have a memory of her real father, but none of the mother who gave birth to her. And even if Hell never raised her, her praise when they were working together was good enough. Now as she helps in the Pokécenter, every word that comes from Nurse Joy makes her feel that way again.
+1) The night Nagi gave her the replacement bunny she realized just how lucky she really was. None of this would have happened at home. No one would have left the two of them alone, she knows this no matter how much she might have tried to pretend. Neither one of them would have been able to leave their teams. So even if she did miss Papa and Schreient, she was happier where she was for now.
