Let's say my cell phone plan expires Tuesday and I hadn't realized it until just now. What happens if I don't do anything before the expiration date?

So far as I know, your plan continues until you cancel it, you just won't be bound by the plan contract.

If you have Cingular I that that's how it works. I wouldn't worry. They want your money too much to cancel your phone. They may try to get you to sign a new contract though.

Yeah, Cingular The *New* AT&T will just keep you on their billing list.

Ok. I'm just not sure if I want to stick with Cingular now that they're AT&T because I haven't been impressed with AT&T's service so far, but I don't have time to research alternatives before I leave for your future homeland.
