Sunday brunch

My mother is a fantastic cook.  She uses the best ingredients, has the best ideas.  EVER.  She's so good that the standard around our house at any restaurant meal is - Does this taste almost as good as Mom' makes it?

Sundays are when she does a big cookout.  I should record more of these, since these meals are important to my life.  They make me ( Read more... )

We usually call them "cherry tomatoes", but sometimes it's a more oval version called "grape tomatoes."

Those look ordinary "cherry tomatoes".

I have cooked just a few things - curry rice, galbi-jjim - upon my mother's request, and obviously i'm like, sous chef for everything (I chop, do all the prep, clean up after) but I rarely get the chance to cook. Hehe. My my controls the meal planning and grocery shopping, and since she doesn't feel it a chore - it's her hobby too - I haven't had much chance or time.

I'm glad you enjoyed that meal. That was really fun to do.
