I'm not exactly thrilled with the stimulus measure, either. Seems like it was too big and did contain a lot of unnecessary pork. Why not start with a smaller package that contains just the fundamentals and see how that worked? You know, a little foreplay to see if that stimulates the economy enough, rather than TRYING TO STUFF NEARLY A TRILLION DOLLARS OF SHIT into it.

Ah, well. I wasn't expecting things to be anywhere near perfect. It is still politics, after all.

There is transparency if you are able to look through all of Obama's promises and feel-good crap and see the shit beneath.

Didn't three Republicans vote for this thing, Snowe, Specter, and one other one?
