I believe in helping others. Family especially. I will always offer up help whenever I can.
But after years of helping it comes down to the other persons attitude.

Sick...sick...like a sick thing.

Thought I had bad hayfever, but now am thinking I've caught a severe summer cold. So very sick. Can't breathe, coughing, sneezing. At least I'm off from work.

Yays! Life has been grand since I quit the VA job. Except for the hubby tearing tendons and ligaments in his knee and going from a bum hand to a bum knee in one week. But that was 3 weeks ago and it is slowly healing and he is doing much better with it ( Read more... )

Did fine with the tests. Was home and back asleep by 1030. I've got 2 new prescriptions to replace an old one that isn't working hard enough to help my GI tract for the moment. Mom's surgery went well. She looked good when I left this afternoon. Now am home prepping for the procedure that has me getting to the hospital at 630am.
No sleep for me tonight once again.

My Mom is having surgery tomorrow. Above the knee amputation on the right leg. This is the non melanoma leg...yeah.... She seems to be dealing well with it, she hasn't walked since May and is pretty much done with this world. This amputation will stop the extreme pain she has been having from lack of blood flow and neuropathy. I'm spending the ( Read more... )
