Draco was outside Hogwarts, after coming to the decision that if he didn't move before lunch would start, Pansy would likely find the counter-curse to the spell he put on his curtains. He didn't want to tell her about the werewolves infested nightmares he had during the night. For that reason, he cast a color charm on his robes that would make anyone looking at him think he was a Hufflepuff, with a wool scarf that irritated his neck.

Draco blew his breath and watched in slight fascination as the area in front of his face fogged up. He was almost certain that in this cold weather that no one would come looking for him. Unless it was for Quidditch practice, no one would be outside; who would choose to be in the cold, harsh autumn day when they could be in big, warm castle?.

---

Draco was wrong.

He was very wrong.

Pansy had nearly caught him two times, and he barely missed a charm that would tickle him. So he went to the only place where most students fear to trend. The library, under the calculating, watchful eyes of one Madam Pince.

---

The library turned out to be a bad place to hide, too. It seemed that Draco had occurred deja vu; above him was a female whose stance was akimbo and instead of Slytherin robes, it was Gryffindor.

"Hello, Granger."
