Subaru Sumeragi blushed as his sister cackled in the background.
“S-s-seishiro-san! I - we - um.”
“Oh-ho-ho you made my cute brother blush.”
“Now, now Hotuko-chan, he’s so cute, and I only mentioned icecream.”
The cause of said blushes was the fact that he and Seishiro (as he dared to refer to him internally) had gone for ice-cream in Ueno park after seeing the penguins. As Hokuto had come to meet then, a little old lady had commented to her husband on “how cute the young lady was with that distinguished young man, and how lucky she was to have him.”
Seishiro had gravely thanked her for her best wishes and commented that he was the lucky one to have such a cute girl on his arm, and they had continued on. Even being mistaken for a girl (something that he had to admit happened more often then he liked), he had to admit that Seishiro’s words had touched something inside him, and made him feel warm and cherished, a feeling that he wished could continue forever.
