Clark Kent was in Perry White’s office on an urgent matter.
“Please Perry, there has to be some assignment you can assign me”
“Sorry Clark, I don’t have anything I can give you.”
“I’ll take anything, anything. Are you sure there’s not a social event I can cover, or a sporting event. I’ll even take a human interest piece. I just need a legitimate assignment, so I can tell Lois I’m busy.”
As Clark uttered those words, the woman in question knocked on the door. “Sorry Perry, but I need Clark. There’s something I have to do.”
As Clark was dragged out the door by his partner, he saw Perry mouth the words “It was either you or me Clark.”
“First things first, you need a haircut. And then we need to look at some proper fitting clothes. Those glasses have got to go - have you ever tried contracts?”
Listening to Lois’ plan he knew he had met, and been defeated by, his ultimate foe. Even the Man of Steel couldn’t prevail against a woman set upon a makeover.
