Fantastic piece. I love the whole verse, exploring the ups and downs and sideways of bipolar moodswings, but this one is probably my favorite. It's not talked about often, either, so it's nice to see a fic that deals with it. You portray the mood in such a unique way and it's so accurate, the muted buzzing under the skin and the back and forth ideas that don't go as far as mania ones do. And Dean wanting to keep going like that, it's fitting, because hypomania may not be the most healthy thing in the world but it's one heck of a high to ride. I like your writing style and how well you get into Dean's head, applying this to him in a way that still manages to feel like canon.
