Part 1: The Basics
1. What is your full name? Anthony “Purple” Larkson
2. Where and when were you born? I was born 16 years ago here in Cardinal.
3. Who are/were your parents? My mother was Abigail Larkson and she owns a small convenience store in Cardnial, which she recently received after the owner passed on. Dad, Carl Larkson, was a scientist working for a lab here in Cardinal, but after it went under, he decided to stay home and look after things. Both of them are very reserved, but Dad’s very serious and strict when it comes to things. Mom on the other hand is very laidback and fun, though she can be just as scary as Dad when she wants to be.
4. Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like? Laurel Larkson, nicknamed Orange. He’s my twin brother who left on his Pokémon journey two years ago. He and I are different in that he’s smooth and always knows exactly what to say. He can seem incredibly arrogant though, since he’s been known to speak his mind, whenever he can or wants.
5. Where do you live now, and with whom? Right now I’m crashing at a friend’s apartment, while I wait for mine next door to open up. Of course I’m still in Cardinal and my friend is currently in Magnolia City trying his luck at the Gym there. I’m pretty sure he’s incredibly unsuccessful.
6. What is your occupation? Full time Co-Ordinator and part-time shop keeper at aNchie, my favorite clothing boutique in Shiko.
7. Write a full physical description of yourself. Oh gosh. Well, I’m 16, around 5’11 and have black hair. It’s cut pretty short, but not too short. It sits around the ears I guess. I’ve been told I’m pretty thin, so I guess I must be, although Carol said that I was a size 1 and it actually fit, so the people must not be too far off.
Normally, I’m one that gets off just with my purple t-shirt and my black pants, but lately, I’ve been wearing more stuff from aNchie, like the pants with the skirt attachment. I’m beginning to feel like it’s more my thing, although I wouldn’t wear it outside of Cardinal while traveling. I also almost always have my gloves on with the orange tips. They remind me of Orange and our relationship.
My eyes are probably the most interesting part of me. One is incredibly light purple and the other is clear blue. No one is sure why, but the purple had originally been incredibly strong, though it diluted itself later in life. I’m not sure whether to be thankful for that or not.
8. To which social class do you belong? Middle Class
9. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses? I don’t like playing any kind of ball sport…Does that count?
10. Are you right- or left-handed? Lucky Lefty
11. What does your voice sound like? I think my voice tends towards the higher end of tones. I do occasionally squeak when I’m excited, though. All in all, I’m secretly hoping I’m not done developing and I end up with a deep voice.
12. What words and/or phrases do you use very frequently? ‘Sorry, Uh, No problem’ are just a few. I do try to say something creative most of the time.
13. What do you have in your pockets? My wallet with money, credit card and picture of Laurel and myself.
14. Do you have any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics? I’m a klutz, so I’m constantly apologizing for running into people, things and Pokémon. Doors and I also do not get along well.
Plus, people can get me to do just about anything. I’m pretty gullible I guess, but the people who should make use of that, don’t, so I don’t really think much of it.
Part 2: Growing Up
15. How would you describe your childhood in general? It was incredibly peaceful. Mom and I would always go to the Grand Festival and would sometimes go to smaller Contests. I’m pretty sure she wanted me to become a Co-Ordinator like her.
16. What is your earliest memory? Visiting my first contest at 3.
17. How much schooling have you had? I finished advanced schooling in comparison to Laurel, although I had to leave before beginning to properly study.
18. Did you enjoy school? No, because Bulb wasn’t allowed to come. Only on days where Pokémon were the topic, which were only like once a week.
19. Where did you learn most of your skills and other abilities? A lot of what I know, I learned at home and at the first boutique I worked for.
20. While growing up, did you have any role models? If so, describe them. To be quite honest, I looked up to every person that gave in to their dream to become a Co-Ordinator. Following a dream to merge with your Pokémon on that level is something I can only look to and try to follow.
21. While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family? My family and I got along swimmingly.
22. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? Co-Ordinator
23. As a child, what were your favorite activities? Kids stuff, running around, getting into mischief, you know.
24. As a child, what kinds of personality traits did you display? Happy go lucky, clumsy and incredibly curious
25. As a child, were you popular? Who were your friends, and what were they like? I had a couple of good friends, Mike and Hikari and we used to hang out together every day after school. We got into lots of good natured trouble and always just got away before someone caught us. I think both of them left and went on Pokémon journeys. Hikari always had BJ her Kriktot and Mike always brought Joker the Meowth with, so Bulb had someone to play with.
26. When and with whom was your first kiss? I kissed Hikari before she left three years ago. It was incredibly awkward and the both of us blushed, hugged and never saw each other again.
27. Are you a virgin? If not, when and with whom did you lose your virginity? Don’t kid me. I’ve still got my cherry.
28. If you are a supernatural being (i.e. mage, werewolf, vampire), tell the story of how you became what you are or first learned of your own abilities. If you are just a normal human, describe any influences in your past that led you to do the things you do today. I think Orange leaving on his journey was the biggest thing to ever happen to me. The two of never really had a long separation and the first night I cried myself to sleep. The first month was incredibly rough and I would break down in tears at weird times, although I’ve gotten used to it. I think I’m glad I haven’t seen him since. I don’t think I’d be able to let him go.
Part 3: Past Influences
29. What do you consider the most important event of your life so far? Orange’s departure.
30. Who has had the most influence on you? My twin brother, because he’s the person I’m closest to and cannot live without.
31. What do you consider your greatest achievement? Finally setting out on my own adventure.
32. What is your greatest regret? Not keeping in touch with Hikari and Mike.
33. What is the most evil thing you have ever done? Yelled at my mother after she tried to clean up Laurel’s things.
34. Do you have a criminal record of any kind? Nope. I’m totally clean.
35. When was the time you were the most frightened? When Orange told me he was leaving.
36. What is the most embarrassing thing ever to happen to you? Anytime I run into a closed door.
37. If you could change one thing from your past, what would it be, and why? I probably wouldn’t have just kissed Hikari and let her go.
38. What is your best memory? Any time I spent with Laurel.
39. What is your worst memory? When mom told me they might go broke.
Part 4: Beliefs And Opinions
40. Are you basically optimistic or pessimistic? 100% Glass is always half full.
41. What is your greatest fear? That Orange is dead.
42. What are your religious views? I don’t believe in anything in particular. I think everything has some base in fact.
43. What are your political views? I like Pokémon as friends..?
44. What are your views on sex? Great pastime for those who have it.
45. Are you able to kill? Under what circumstances do you find killing to be acceptable or unacceptable? I do not find that killing is an answer. However if anyone ever killed Laurel, I would fully take an eye for an eye.
46. In your opinion, what is the most evil thing any human being could do? Torture the people or Pokémon that love them.
47. Do you believe in the existence of soul mates and/or true love? Of course and when I’ll find them, I know I’ll know it.
48. What do you believe makes a successful life? To follow your dream and do exactly that which you set out to do.
49. How honest are you about your thoughts and feelings (i.e. do you hide your true self from others, and in what way)? I’m pretty open as a general rule, although I tend to put on show when I’m having problems relating to Orange. Not even Mom and Dad know about it.
50. Do you have any biases or prejudices? Not unless the person in question is an asshole.
51. Is there anything you absolutely refuse to do under any circumstances? Why do you refuse to do it? I believe I would refuse to kill someone, because I find it not in our power as humans to decide who lives and who dies.
52. Who or what, if anything, would you die for (or otherwise go to extremes for)? Orange
Part 5: Relationships With Others
53. In general, how do you treat others (politely, rudely, by keeping them at a distance, etc.)? Does your treatment of them change depending on how well you know them, and if so, how? In general I treat everyone with respect and an open mind. My treatment of them does not change, although the way I may act might.
54. Who is the most important person in your life, and why? Orange, because he is a part of me.
55. Who is the person you respect the most, and why? Like I said, anyone who has followed their dream to becoming a Co-Ordinator.
56. Who are your friends? Do you have a best friend? Describe these people. I do not have many friends, for they have all moved on. However I have new acquaintances, which could easily turn into new friends.
57. Do you have a spouse or significant other? If so, describe this person. Nope, not yet.
58. Have you ever been in love? If so, describe what happened. Can’t say I have been.
59. What do you look for in a potential lover? Not sure, I never really thought about it.
60. How close are you to your family? Incredibly close, even though Laurel has distanced himself.
61. Have you started your own family? If so, describe them. If not, do you want to? Why or why not? I want to have a family some day. A couple of kids, a spouse, Pokémon running through the house…It’d be nice.
62. Who would you turn to if you were in desperate need of help? Orange
63. Do you trust anyone to protect you? Who, and why? Orange
64. If you died or went missing, who would miss you? All of my new acquaintances and of course my family, I hope.
65. Who is the person you despise the most, and why? Right now, Marjan, because he’s an arrogant ass.
66. Do you tend to argue with people, or avoid conflict? Depends on the person. If it’s good natured, I’ll argue, but if the person has bad intentions, forget it.
67. Do you tend to take on leadership roles in social situations? Not really. I prefer to help from the sidelines so that every reaches their destination/goal.
68. Do you like interacting with large groups of people? Why or why not? I do, because I like people as a general rule and large groups are lots of new people to meet!
69. Do you care what others think of you? Not really. I mean, people will have an opinion to everything, so why should I care what they think of me?
Part 6: Likes And Dislikes
70. What is/are your favorite hobbies and pastimes? Playing with my Pokémon, working at aNchie, cooking
71. What is your most treasured possession? My picture of Orange and myself.

75. What is your idea of good entertainment (consider music, movies, art, etc.)? A great Contest, any good music
76. Do you smoke, drink, or use drugs? If so, why? Do you want to quit? Nope.
77. How do you spend a typical Saturday night? Either out training or at home, curled up with Cutiepie and Bulb.
78. What makes you laugh? More like what doesn’t and those are bad jokes. Other than that, I’ll laugh at about anything.
79. What, if anything, shocks or offends you? When people scolded their Pokémon unnecessarily in public or use violence to punish them
80. What would you do if you had insomnia and had to find something to do to amuse yourself? I’d probably cook lots. Not sure really.
81. How do you deal with stress? I beat up my pillow.
82. Are you spontaneous, or do you always need to have a plan? Unless I’m up to something big, I’m pretty spontaneous.
83. What are your pet peeves? People who are mean, just to be mean
Part 7: Self Images And Etc.
84. Describe the routine of a normal day for you. How do you feel when this routine is disrupted? I get up, eat, feed the Pokémon and head to work. From there I usually go training or take a stroll out of the city. Then I come home, watch the news, then curl up for a long night in bed.
85. What is your greatest strength as a person? I’m incredibly open and I love people and Pokémon in general.
86. What is your greatest weakness? I’m gullible.
87. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? That I was more sure about every decision I make.
88. Are you generally introverted or extroverted? Extroverted
89. Are you generally organized or messy? In between, it depends on what we’re talking about. I live in mess, but am incredibly organized otherwise.
90. Name three things you consider yourself to be very good at, and three things you consider yourself to be very bad at. I think I’m good at connecting with Pokémon, I’m also good at dealing with people and I think I’m a natural when it comes to coordinating.
On the other side, I’m incredibly horrible at standing up for myself in some situations,
91. Do you like yourself? I do. I know I’m not perfect, but I like me for me. Cheesy, I know.
92. What are your reasons for being an adventurer (or doing the strange and heroic things that RPG characters do)? Are your real reasons for doing this different than the ones you tell people in public? (If so, detail both sets of reasons...) I want to follow my dream, it’s really as simple as that. At least to the rest of the world. Personally, I want to find Orange and show him that we can travel together and that I won’t hold him down.
93. What goal do you most want to accomplish in your lifetime? To become Contest Master some day.
94. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? A successful Co-Ordinator with a job I love. I’m not sure where or what though.
95. If you could choose, how would you want to die? I’d like a quiet death that was quick, so those around me didn’t have to suffer.
96. If you knew you were going to die in 24 hours, name three things you would do in the time you had left. 1) Find Orange and tell him about everything that’s happened since he left. 2) Find a good home for all my Pokémon. 3) Go out for the best food in Shiko and have all my friends join me one last time.
97. What is the one thing for which you would most like to be remembered after your death? Dying happy and content with that which I have completed and dying with no regrets what so ever.
98. What three words best describe your personality? As I said, open, friendly and klutzy.
99. What three words would others probably use to describe you? Good hearted, klutzy
100. If you could, what advice would you, the player, give to your character? (You might even want to speak as if he or she were sitting right here in front of you, and use proper tone so he or she might heed your advice...) Purple, don’t give up on your dreams and find your brother. You’re the happiest of all my RP characters, don’t ever lose that. Keep up your spirits and everything will fall into place. I just know it.

Feel free to plot.

I hate LJ for this.
