I have to admit, when I started reading I was like "HEY! I colour my hair/shampoo/straighten it..." And then I realised the irony of your piece and started laughing :P

Haha, sorry! They're not things I do myself, but that's mostly because I'm just too lazy to bother. ;) But man, if you can and you like it, why the hell not?

omg you are me, except I do put concealer under my eyes so people stop asking me if I feel good, and I do some mild beautification, but it's for me, so it's ok

Truthfully, it's the attitude that's the ficionalised part. XD I don't do most of those things, but only because I'm too lazy and don't care enough to want to bother. But those who do get to display all the time they put into it with the results, so more power to 'em. :3
