Emma

Ona tangent
can you name this book for me.

Its set in Ireland about 1920 or 1930 and it has a house burnt down by the black and tans, and the fmaily harbour some fugitve who may or may not have been Michael Collins

It was on my A level reading list and for the life of me I cant remember what it was called or who wrote it.

It was one of those tragic family novels if you know what i mean.

Its really bugging me now, there may have been a character called Maggie in it but i may be getting confused with the Mill on the Floss which was on the same syllabus.

Cheers

At least they got the O and the U the right way around so it kind of indicates that they at least thought about how it was spelled. I get fucktards here that I tell to put their name and student number on their assessments so I know who's is who's when I mark and I STILL get the wretched spack nappies hand them in without and this is on the other end of the age scale!

15. That was by no means the worst. If I put them all up, I'd never get any marking done!
