I'm bringing this journal back to life so I can post my nerdy TGWTG reader insert fic. Mostly because of a confidence boost from the wonderful aunt_zeldawho writes some pretty awesome TGWTG fic herself (even more if you want Linkara and Spoony or Dr Insano to act upon the sexual tension that arises when they're together. What do you mean that's in my head?

I really have no idea, I have a list of prompts and just write about whoever fits my plot bunny for a prompt.

By the looks of it, I am going to be completely alone on this one...

But the Linkara and Film Brain ones...squicked me. They squicked me something awful.

Why?

Well...I do occasionally feel stabs of guilt in the withered, dark artery that was once my heart and the tiny shred that is my conscience for writing these, but I always comfort myself by going 'I'm writing about the internet persona'.

The fact that you used their real names is, for me, a gigantic squick out, not because I think Lewis and Matthew are unpleasant or unattractive (on the contrary, I deeply appreciate them both...if you know what I mean...) but because I like deluding myself, and reading 'Lewis' instead of 'Linkara' and 'Matthew' instead of 'Film Brain' just jolts me out into a WHOLE 'nother level of creepiness.

With Angry Joe, I can deal with it because it's his internet name anyway, but with Lewis and Matthew it just...icks me.

I mean, they're really well written, and really beautifully thought out, I just find them uncomfortable.

That's ok, I'm surprised you're alone in that and I do feel guilty I spent much time angsting over that desision but...meh idk I'll probably change it some day...perhaps now actually, yeah now is good. Sorry if this posts many times my computer hates me

Well I'm really glad you like them. I've always loved reader inserts so I thought I've give writing some a shot. If you like second person not-making-you-a-character stories there's a good number here http://www.lunaescence.com/ no TGWTG ones but still.
