Go for it. Sometimes it can be hard to follow through on stuff like that, but it will totally be worth it.

Do it do it do it!!!!!!! It sounds... perfect. And there's certainly no harm in trying. Plus, even if you don't know your professors very well, a lot of them love helping out students. And if you don't know who to ask your advisor might know the personalities of the profs and might point you in the right direction. Sweeeet! And I expect to see the watch, ASAP.
