Right now i feel like i'm on a completely different world. I feel like i'm in some sort of cocoon that i have to stay in, in order to make "good impressions" on people b/c no one here knows me besides like 2 people ( of which i am so thankful they are here). I miss just being able to be myself and not be self conscience about it. I want to connect

it will get easier, melis. classes are a good chance to meet people who arent just in for the party scene.
do you have any way to contact those kids you met at orientation?
colleges usually have fun incoming frosh events. try to go to as many as possible, to find people there as well.
as for the roomie, it will take a little time. it always does.
try not to be too self conscious. you are a wonderful person melis. people will enjoy your company there just like they did in penfield.
now you have the chance to connect to people who like you and are from all over the world.
