But, I need to know that you'll give your word on this;
Whatever is said in this journal, stays in this journal.

One of the main reasons I made this friends only-is to keep out family & most people I know in person.

Just keep my stuff confidential, and even if I said, "Ugh. I hate life-I'm going to walk into traffic." You can't tell anyone.
Now I'm not implying that's in my journal, but I'm trying to make a point.

So do you promise you'll keep my shit a secret?
