I've been checking facebook. I want to despise it as pointless social networking frippery, but... but... I guess so damn many people are on it, it's becoming silly to resist. Next thing you know I'll be getting a smartphone and tweeting. Argh, the path to hell has far too many enticing gadgets.

I'm kinda on the fence with a smartphone-- on the one hand, it seems like it'd be kinda neat to have one. On the other, I don't want to pay for one, or the phone plan that goes with it, and I really don't need one or need to be that connected to everything, and I really want to spite everyone that says "I love my iphone!" or whatever.

Hear, hear! And I absolutely refuse to deal with AT&T - I have to at work, and they're damn near as bad as Dell. Maybe if the whispers are right and that agreement ends for xmas, or the new year... Cause it sure would be handy to have Internets on me all the time.

Getting WORK mail all the time may not fit in with my general life plan, however. That may kill it.

I missed another doctor appointment because I'm avoiding the house phone now (it's crammed with calls for parents/little sister, and they allegedly tell me when I have a message, so...).

I think cell phone has become a real necessity. =( Sigh. I don't wanna shop for one. At all.
