Go to your "update journal" page
Select the tab at the top that says "rich text"
Highlight the words that you want readers to click on.
Click on the icon above the window which shows a little picture of a globe with a chain-link in front of it.
Paste the URL you want to link to into the pop-up window.

I don't know how to put links into comment threads, but that is how you do it in the initial post.

Maybe you can get the panhandler to electrocute himself on the cooler! You should make sure that cooler is the one with the cheapest beer in it.
