Actually, the man exchanged the empty packing tube for a TOW missile for a pair of shoes. No missile, just the fibreglass tube used to transport it. Sure looks dangerous, but about the only thing you could do is hit someone over the head with it.
But there were a couple other prizes in that, and another, turn-in. One guy turned in a $1500 mint condition M-1A rifle (ask Mike if you don't know what that is). Someone else turned in (since it was a "no questions asked" kinda thing) a rifle that had been illegally chopped down and converted into a pseudo Tec-9. Or, as the PD said when they saw it, a walking crime scene - aboutt 6 state and federal felony-level violations.
