So, I know that it's a little late... but I haven't had much time to make an update about the dance because I was either A.) Sleeping or B.) Working... (most likely the latter).
But I just wanted to say that... after much stress and hassle,
and
finally managed to finish both of our outfits.
And I must say that I think all of our hard work finally paid off 'cause we looked
damn
We all met at Lauren's before the dance to take some group pictures and such. Everyone looked
The dance was a lot of fun. As soon as we walked in everyone (including my teachers) started cheering and the DJ even said something along the lines of "in all my 9 years of DJing, in new york and florida, I've never seen anything like this before." People I didnt even know were asking us questions about it and wanting to take pictures of us. Hehe, I felt like a celebrity. (Or at the very least, one of those disney characters everyone wants a picture with)
It was kinda weird though... It seemed like everyone was staring at us... and I'm definitely not used to
like that and being so noticed. But we
anyway and had a pretty good time.
((Thank you Jillianne and Joey for the pictures))
After prom I spent the night at Andrew's... But you'll never believe what happened on the way back. Lauren, JOEY, ANDREW AND I were stopped at a RED LIGHT and Andrew was making a joke about how "you can never be too cautious at red lights". Then he turned around and said (jokingly) something like "oh, look - that guy's not gonna stop... he's not gonna stop..." and then "wait, he's REALLY not gonna STOP"! Needless to say, the guy didn't stop. The hit was not nearly as hard as last time, but we certainly felt it. When we got out of the car to inspect the damage we found that it was very minimal and just left. But I still can't believe we (joey, andrew and I) were hit again from behind at a red light by a seemingly drunk driver. What are the chances? What are the chances?
Ok... so, anyway...
Andrew's house was fun. (My dress is still there, hehe... gotta pick it up.)
But I only got 4 hours of sleep and had to work the next day (the day before MOTHER'S DAY) from 9-6:30. The store was so busy and I was so tired... It was absolutely hell.
But I lived.
And now I can kick back and relax.
One more thing: To those of you who liked our outfits - will you please vote for us? please please please... The voting wont be for about a month or so, but I'll remind you when it comes around. We need all the votes we can get. :-)
