After a day of fasting

My alarm just went off, telling me that it is the official sunset. I thought I'd be champing at the bit, NEED FOOD NOW, but I'm not. I felt a little faint and dizzy earlier, but that has passed now. I was reading an article in one of our newspapers this morning and the comment was made on how short the fasting time is in Australia at the moment ("The former conservative Liberal Party member and author of Once Were Radicals: My years as a teenage Islamo-fascist expects to put on a kilogram a week during the current Ramadan, which started Wednesday. "But that's partly because the days are short with the winter, so and the actual fasting time isn't very long. The last time I didn't put on any weight at all.") And I remember that last year Ramadan fell during the Olympics and wondering how Muslim athletes would go with the competing ( ... )

I actually drank when I was thirsty today -- and felt thankful I could. It was amazing! Like I was saying to grav_ity, so very glad I did this. I'm not glad of the circumstances, but having the opportunity to experience this for you was amazing and I'm sitting here actually getting teary over it typing this up. So yeah, *THOUSAND HUGS BACK*

Thanks for sharing your experience.

Also, "Much Ado About Nothing" is really good. I personally loved Nathan Fillion's part the best. :)

Thank you for sharing YOUR experience with it -- it was a really good way to start my own preparations!

And I plan on seeing Much Ado asap, since it's only in two cinemas in Melbourne. I'm glad Nathan Fillion made a good Dogsberry, because that's one of my favourite parts!
