This is a sweet little fic, always nice to see Steve acting human from time to time *chuckle*

I just wanted to add a nitpicky note, that I noticed you put "first time" in the header but I would consider this fic to be more like pre-slash, "first time" usually refers to the first time they kiss or admit feelings for each other or have sex, etc, so you might want to switch that part out, just my two cents :)

wow, that was really fantastic, i love how danny wont let steve get stuck in his own head too long and how they are able to get through a bad day together and actually grow from it... it makes me so shmoop-happy!

ps. in my head the form steve is so pissed about losing is some sort of DADT repeal...uh... thing... something like steve is changing his emergency contact to danny or making danny his benifits recipiant or some such thing. i just think it would be adorable if steve had finally managed to get over his fear of commitment only to lose the form he finally got the nerve to request and now the SEAL voice in his head is yelling at him for being a terrible boyfriend and a chicken (Now drop and give me twenty!!!) good thing danny wont leave him alone with that voice long enough for it to really sink in... sorry, guess you gave me a bunny (or five) with your fic...

So Steve is human after all! And he's lucky to have Danny who knows him so well. That was a great "feel good" fic, and it rang very true to me. Thanks for sharing!

I'm so glad you liked it, and that it made you feel good. : ) I like the human side to Steve. I think it's really easy for that the get buried in his macho SEAL-ness, and that's why I like to go around and dig it up. Thanks so much for reading. : D
