Ooh! I love it! I just read the whole thing today and it's awesome! I love your pacing so far and I thought the riot in the beginning was a great way to start the story. I love your characterizations of Charles and Erik too. <3

Also, when you said that Charles went to a camera shop in the Castro, I grinned like a madwoman. You aren't by any chance referring to Harvey Milk's shop or was that just a coincidence?
