okay, so it's been a while. i have a notebook with a lot of these that i never finished. However, I think that if I do it right I can actually construct these in such a way that I will actually like the final product.

I like the use of colored lines, whenever I try that I use the wrong colors, so I usually stick to black lines.

my trick is that I've started going over my pencils in painter, which makes it way easier to redo the coloring because I can lock the transparency.

I guess technically you could use the magic wand tool if you're going over your scanned pencils, but i've tried that before and I always loose some of the line quality. Plus I invariably have a surplus of sketchwork that I don't want in the final drawing.

my other trick is that I have Tarra around to tell me when my line colors look weird.
