Can anyone demystify for me why Kris has e-mailed me twice, on two different days, and neither e-mail has ended up in my account?  These notes were sent from the same address he always e-mails me from and to the same one I always get his e-mails in.  WTF?!

ALSO:  I got new boots today.  I haven't gotten new boots since about grade 8.  These are ( Read more... )

I would spray them outside or in the bathroom with the fan on...only because the spray will stink up your apartment for days if you don't.

Maybe you are in a soap opera, and Kris's insane, back-from-the-dead ex-wife has set up a nefarious scheme to intercept your emails, thereby contributing to mass misunderstandings, which will lead you guys to break up, and him to fall back into her arms.

(Sadly, this really was the first thing I thought of.)

(Also, I suspect most soap opera plots would be cleared up if people just cleared up misunderstandings with each other more often, and insane ex-wifes would triumph less).

(Also, when do you go home? We should meet up before we take off).

I'm not aware of his having a "dead" ex-wife, but I did run into his ex-girlfriend once and she freaked me out a little... it seems she had done a background check of sorts on me already. So while all I had to go on was her first name, I guess she had already found out my last name and where I'm from and then found people who went to my high school to grill them. I guess what I'm saying is that I wouldn't put it past this girl to construct some such scheme. I should alert him so as to perhaps nip the mass misunderstanding in the bud. Merci.

(It's OK, I will probably present this to him, but he knows I'm crazy anyway so it shouldn't really be a problem.)

(I go home on I think the 23rd and I definitely agree that we should hang at least once before then. When are you free?)

Having worked in a shoe/boot store, that stuff is very strong and spray them outside if at all possible. If inside..crack a window and ur them near it..unless you want the headache that will ensue. Can't think you would.

Funny thing about boots, I agree. The lady says it's something to do with salt not wearing them away or sumsing. *shrugs*

And the new boots say hi back. There's certainly lots going on. They got to be worn all day yesterday because their idiot new owner accidentally left her regular work shoes on one bus before transferring to another bus (this was not unrelated to her falling asleep on the first bus and then hurtling herself into action to catch the second). It was quite a day.
