I recommend The Night Watch series by Sergei Lukyanenko (they're about supernatural beings like vampires etc but it's set in Russia which is different and interesting).
oh and The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde if you haven't already read it.
I read this book called On the Shortness Of Life by Seneca. I found it really inspiring. I have literally, the entire thing highlighted. (I write in my books. :P) I loved it. It really puts life in perspective.
And there's a teeny-type book series that I read that I actually kind of liked called Pretties by Scott Westerfield. I think it's like a four book series, but it was pretty interesting. Just a thought. :P
