Invaded Heart
My days were filled with sorrow and tiredness. Each hour, each bloody second, perfected to stay in the same routine of an infinite loop. I was utterly bored with my way of living. Completely indifferent with how each day I looked in the mirror, staring into the same empty pair of emotionless eyes, the same pair of chapped lips, the same roughness of skin that belonged to me. Like clockwork, everything kept in balance, in perfect sequence.
And then, something happened, something that was not supposed to happen. Something that was not planned.
Something like you. You walked into my life and invaded my heart like nothing. You changed and unbalanced everything. You broke everything that was in order. You smashed furniture and drove down walls that were meant to stay up forever. You destroyed everything. Everything that was meant to stay standing in its order.
Yet... I just stand and watch. Watch you destroy my home, my dreading home.
Yet I watch how each destruction you make fills me with joy.
Yet I encourage you to kill everything that showed any sign of order.
And then you shatter my mirror, my clock.
And I don't mind.
You smoothed my flesh with your hands, your warm and curious hands. You glazed my lips with your mouth, your oh-so soft and hungry mouth. You filled my eyes with your wonderful presence, with your life. And you filled my heart with your warmth, with your undying love.
And then you whispered words that I thought I would never get to hear, never get to truly listen to.
“I love you, Jaejoong-ah. Love you... love you so much...”
You murmured and breathed them to me in between your love-filled kisses.
“Yunho... Saranghae...”
“Forever”
Unexpected, but wonderful.
