Happy birthday, indeed.
quick quick Criminal Minds thing -
Over the last week and a half, every time crazy!blogger posted at the CM community with the link saying "A note from ____" we got a goodbye note from one of the fantastic writers (I'm still SERIOUSLY PISSED about losing Andrew Wilder, btw.) that made me fall in love with the show. About two minutes ago I got the scare of my life when I flipped through today's posts and there was a "A note from Thomas Gibson" post on there from one of her lackies. All I could think was, "If he announces he's getting done on my birthday, I'm done with the show - cold turkey." but instead he wrote a cute little note ("Thomas here." lol) about how he loves playing Hotch and that he intends to be on the show for "many more" seasons. PHEW. Could they not have said, "a POSITIVE note from Thomas Gibson"? Sheesh. I hate that the blog with the best info is also run by ZOMGCRAZYPEOPLE.
All that said, I loved tonight's episode. It was the kind of episode that caused many squeeing and suspicious texts to go flying from here to NJ. Dave & Aaron going to a club made me laugh because, yeah, it's Dave & Aaron. I'm so glad that Morgan went after Reid, that he made him talk about what was going on and that he mentioned Tobias drugging Reid because that means Reid's been talking to him about it. But Reid's sadness and flashbacks? Those really got to me and they showed that MGG is a damned good actor. At first I was a tad confused by the flashbacks but as it played out, I couldn't keep from wibbling for him.
Today was good. Dad and I bonded at Lowe's buying blinds and spray paint, then he took me to lunch and furniture shopping. I got a bed frame and talked him out of buying a flimsy, over-priced computer stand. We came home and set their bed frame/base up then went to the cabin to pack up their stuff so that we could all spend the night at home. 2 of my 3 siblings and their significant others came over for pizza and cake despite my protests about not wanting to celebrate this year and we all just had a really nice time.
My sister wins at life for finding a place that would print a picture out on "fondant" and making me THE GREATEST CAKE EVER
She is so good to me ^_^ Tomorrow we're taking the money my aunt gave me (with the specific order that it be used for bedroom accessories) to The Big City to look for fancy sheets and shelves. By the time I get home, my bed should be in my room which is fantastic news.
Oh, and my little brother got engaged last night. I like his girlfriend a ton, but it was a total "wtf?" thing when he told us because they've only been together for...4 months? 5 months? And no, she's not pregnant.
Now I'm just babbling for the sake of babbling. I need to get sleep because we're leaving early in the morning. G'nite all!
