vintage_belle is okay!

She emailed her mom to say that she's well, and as safe as she can be, considering. I don't have a lot of info right now, but for now, that is the most important thing.

She also has a friend who is the kind of fiercely devoted, caring friend that we all should be lucky enough to have. I'm flat-out in awe of the lengths this person

I honestly could not get any work done today until you told me she was all right, I was so worried and close to tears watching the videos coming in from CNN. So happy to hear she's all right and is safe where she is.

*hugs you* It was so paralyzing watching that footage and just not knowing. I hope you saw her LJ post: it sounds like she made out the best possible, thank God. ♥ If only everyone else could have made out as well :-/

And so you know, gimmick_game is the one who actually updated me on her well-being, so she's the one who deserves big virtual hugs.
