today was SO MUCH FUN

today i've been so spectacularly happy! here's why: it's this weather, and wearing summer clothes, and playing bluegrass out on the quad, and a good lesson, and exciting emails, and hearing from jess which always makes me so so happy, and poetry in english, and beethoven six, and the mozart clarinet concerto. love love love love love.

i'm so happy right now, finally. gbyso was good, i thought, except for the last movement of hindemith, but you know what, that will be absolutely FINE even if it's not spectacular. mahler kind of restores my hope in life and love and beauty and all that. i'm really excited for tomorrow. i love getting mail from my favorite people. i love my ( Read more... )
