I'd encountered Michael a good handful of times in the LJ communities in which we shared membership. Though I was under a different username, what difference does that make now, I supppose?
I enjoyed his cleverness and appreciated his grasp of things twisted and off-kilter.
His is probably the 6th or 7th death of someone I knew here on LJ, directly or once removed through IRL and online friends, since I joined LJ in February 2007. Frankly, I am unnerved by the tragic nature of all these untimely deaths as they now continue to accumulate. Michael, from what I can gather, was the youngest one yet.
*sigh*
Sorry for the triple edit. I x-posted this comment elsewhere and ended up rewording it a bit, so then I returned here to reword it, as well.
I know this is a complete shot in the dark. My name is susie. And I was a patient of one of the doctors Michael used to work for at ACRC. I don't believe I know you but when looking for Michael I came across this post of yours... I just recently went back to ACRC and after loosing touch with michael...I just found out that he died. I feel like I never got to tell him how much he changed my life...I am here in Florida with noone for a thousand miles that even knew him and I just thought I would reach out to someone who did. He was an amazing man who literally saved me...and i miss him and wish he knew the impact he had on my life.... Thanks for being someone who can understand this.... Susie
sorry I didn't see this I've not been on LJ for several years. A friend of mine sent this to me. If you want to talk about michael you can either write me directly to my yahoo address purplecrystalwoman@yahoo.com or you can find me on facebook. He was such a great friend and I've found out that he touched so many lives. I wish he could have truely felt how much he was loved. Please contact me if you wish. Jane
