Is it really more than a month since I last cycled to work? That's dreadful! Hopefully now julietk is back in the country the cycling vibes will be getting through more effectively

It's easy to spot a tourist in downtown San Francisco this time of year. They're the ones shivering in shorts and spaghetti strap tops. The locals are all wearing coats. Gotta love summer.

I bought a folding bike a week and a half ago to commute in to work, and so far the weather's been apocalyptic for the past ten days. Just my luck.

(Probably doesn't help that my out-of-practice legs don't appreciate a daily eight-mile round trip right now ;) ).

Here's to better cycling weather come August!

Swansea is even wetter than Cardiff!

What sort of folder do you have? You can see mine in the user-pic - a 26" wheel Dahon Cadenza which I'm very pleased with.

Mine's a Raleigh Boardwalk - 20" wheels & with the Dahon folding mechanism. I've been meaning to put up photos at some point, preferably when the sun comes out...
