There is this urban myth that goes around that you need to write a million words of shit before you can start writing friction competently. Looking at my LJ stats is interesting in this context

and do bear in mind that not everything you write is shit *and therefore doesn't count towards your quota*. in fact, a lot of what you write makes sense and is highly readable, so you're really screwing this up, no?
