Yes, it indeed is their house she is living in, but that no way implies that she must somehow be required to "owe" them anything, simply because her parents provided for her. If their idea is to provide only to get something in return, then I would think motives are not on order.
Perhaps a common ground may be reached instead? Perhaps they should not pull that "i'm the parent so you must do what I say" tantrum, and instead treat their daughter as an adult.
sorry- guess i steped on some toes... maybe you are right. seems that parnets shouldn't have entitlement attitude. guess if that is what they have- then they need to work onit. but i also think alot of kids have same attitude. when you didn't have paents who helped so much your perspective is differnet. sorry if i offended anyone.
