So today is the first day of school. I really can't believe I'm already in my second year of college. Time really does go by fast

Man, I was thinking about that cake the other day too! It was so delicious. But it was strawberry cake, not white cake :P. I want to do that again. Maybe I'll make my sorority sisters do that. Last single awareness day I went with a bunch of us single sisters and we went to a restaurant and then went and saw Hitch. I love that movie! But that one time with the cake WAS the best S.A.D. ever

On round 3, new girls visit their 3 remaining houses and its kinda like a philanthropy round. Usually they have an activity and they may show a video of what their philanthropy (basically the charity the sorority sponsers) so that the new girls are aware what they would be supporting were they to join. Of course all the philanthropies are very worthy. If I remember correctly, Zeta sponsered Breast Cancer Fund, Tri Delt sponsered some children's hospital, etc. My house sponsers CASA which is Court Appointed Special Advocates and this is an organization that finds trained community volunteers to represent neglected or abused children in court so they can find the best possible situation or place children in different homes if it is better for them. For round 3 we have putt putt golf set up around the house and the new girls and chapter members alike all play and for each hole made 50 cents is donated to CASA. Its a lot of fun! Plus the new girls get the chance to meet lot of new girls and eat more yummy snacks made by our cook.

whoops and I forgot to say that this year one of the houses isn't doing recruitment, so there are only 7 houses they will visit on the first day, so that's why on round 2 they only visit 5 houses etc.
